PROJECTS
This is a small selection of projects we have worked on. Projects normally start out
with somebody asking "You're pretty handy, could you make one of these?" Then we
get started. Brainstorming and design is followed by a flurry of activity and many trips
for parts. Some came out great. Some not so great. You can decide for yourself.
THE COAL FORGE
The Coal forge was one of the first projects. We needed a cost effective way to heat
and work steel. Do you need a cost effective way to heat and form steel? Then this is
the tool for you. Just set it up, fill it with coal and light it off. Add your own blower
for increased temperatures and some serious metal working.
THE DONATION BOX
The donation box was a response to another friend in need. An associate needed a
sturdy and cost effective donation box to place at the local park. Requests and
inquiries for similar devices turned out to be pretty expensive. So we created this
device. Not fancy, just functional. Here's one waiting to be installed.
E-BOARD - CIRCUIT TEST BOARD
If you have ever tried to explain electrical circuits, then you'll understand this next project. It can be difficult to explain electrical concepts. The E-board helps. This was designed to allow students to assemble and test simple circuits right on the table. Low voltage components make this a safe way to learn. Students and teachers agree, hands-on is the way to go.
